Charlie is knowledgable, friendly and no question is too silly to ask. One of the strengths of the course is how well she builds relationships between the parents that have continued past the births. My partner also enjoyed the course and felt it helped him support me through the birth and help me make choices.

Charlie is really friendly and approachable, you can ask her any question no matter how silly you may feel it is, and she always gives you clear, matter of fact, and crucially up to date information. And for someone who takes comfort in having facts and knowledge - it’s super reassuring! I highly recommend this course to anyone preparing to be parents.

I just wanted to get in touch to say a massive thank you to Charlie. I booked a private, intensive course to take with my husband at our home. Beforehand Charlie was extremely accommodating and asked if there was anything specific we wanted to learn and was able to give us specific information about the analgesia options at our chosen hospital. 

Even though it was just myself and my husband, she made the session interactive and the time went so quickly! We are still waiting for baby to arrive but we are already using some of the techniques and information that we learned from the course in preparation. 

We were also provided with an excellent reference guide which we have already referred back to a couple of times whilst preparing for labour and the postpartum period.

Charlie runs an excellent course, full of knowledge and relevant useful information. The guided interaction with the other members of the group was great and there was plenty of opportunity to discuss amongst us. The sessions were well programmed and having the ‘Social’ session at the end was a great finish. A HUGE plus was the handout we received at the end of the course, incredibly well put together and full of information, we are checking this daily now our baby has arrived.

A nice local class. Having the midwife also work in the maternity ward of the hospital we’re scheduled to give birth in, the specific insight of what to expect there was very comforting for a worried expectant mum!

We finished Charlie's antenatal classes feeling more confident in our abilities and knowledge to look after a newborn. We have also met some other parents in the area who we plan to stay in contact with after all the babies arrive.
